BRAINERD, MN. JUNE 22, 2004 The Legacy Golf Courses at Cragun's
will offer 4 free golf clinics for children under age 18 during the week
of July 5th through the 11th, 2004 during, "Bring Your Family to the
Golf Course" Week. The clinics will be taught by Brian Erickson,
Cragunıs Head Golf Pro, and offers a great opportunity for adults to
introduce their kids to the game of golf.
In addition to the clinics, the Legacy Golf Courses will offer
discounted green fees to any adults that bring their children to the
course during the week to play. All kids under 18 golf free when
accompanied by a paying adult. These discounts apply to the Legacy
Reversible Par 3 and nine holes of either of the two championship golf
courses after 4 p.m. Adults can golf the Legacy Par 3 for $5, or they
can play nine holes on either of the championship courses for $35. These
promotions are part of the national, "Bring Your Family to the Golf
Course" Week, which is sponsored by the National Golf Course Owners
Association.
"We feel it is important to encourage more kids to get involved in
the game so they can experience the fun of the game and benefit from the
skills that golf has to offer," said Legacy owner Dutch Cragun.
The Legacy Golf Courses at Cragun's has two 18-hole championship golf
courses, a 9-hole Reversible Par 3 course and a driving range. They are
