using our rowboats, with our without motors. Pontoon rental is also
available for $10 per hour. Please call 1-218-825-2806 for fishing

This year, Cragun's is also inviting non-golfers or non-fisherman to
come with their immediate families to join with other service families
to socialize in the Legacy Clubhouse. There will be no speeches or
program, just a casual gathering for the families who have served our
country and to meet new friends and old. There will be complimentary
coffee, cookies, and sweets, served from 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., in a
special area of the Clubhouse set aside for Veterans and families to get
together. The Legacy Bar & Grille will also be open for meals and
beverages.
"We're pleased to show our support for our military services," said
resort owner Dutch Cragun. "As a veteran of the Korean War myself, I
know how important it is to be recognized for serving our country. Now
that we are at war again, the sacrifices of military families should not
go unnoticed. That's why our annual Veterans Appreciation Programs have
expanded to include those dedicated family members left behind."
Cragun said all veterans, from World War II onward are invited. Cragun's
especially wants veterans returning from Iraq, Afghanistan and other
recent assignments to know they and their families are welcome for the
appreciation weekend.
Any U.S. military veteran can also take advantage of Cragun's Veterans
Appreciation Package through Veterans' Day, November 11, 2008. This
offer entitles all veterans to a 15% lodging discount off Cragun's "rack
rate" for any Sunday-Thursday night stay. To receive this discount,
veterans must call and ask for the room block especially reserved for
veterans.
Last year, Cragun's was pleased to host over 300 golfing and fishing
veterans who enjoyed the camaraderie and meeting others who have given
years of their lives in service to America. |
