Resort Policies, A Few Things to Know

Non-Peak (October 16 - May 14): A one-night deposit is required for both cabins and Lodge Hotel Rooms.

• Lodge Hotel Room cancellations made 7 days prior to arrival date for our Best Flexible Rate plan will be given a full refund. Cancellations 6 days or less prior to arrival date will result in a full forfeit of the deposit.
• All other packages, rate plans and cabins will receive a full refund if cancellation is made 14 days prior to arrival. Cancellations made 13 days or less prior to arrival date will result in a full forfeit of the deposit.

Peak (May 15 - October 15): A one-night deposit is required for both cabins and Lodge Hotel Rooms. 

• Lodge Hotel Room cancellations made 21 days prior to arrival date for our Best Flexible Rate plan will be given a full refund. Cancellations 20 days or less prior to arrival date will result in a full forfeit of the deposit. 
• All other packages, rate plans and cabins will receive a full refund if cancellation is made 30 days prior to arrival. Cancellations made 29 days or less prior to arrival date will result in a full forfeit of the deposit. 

*Above policy does not apply to contracted groups; please refer to your group contract for cancellation details.

No Show Policy: Rooms will be released before 5:00 AM the day following the reservation, and the first night's deposit will be forfeited.

Golf Packages are booked on a per person basis. If you cancel 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, your deposit may be refunded less a $40 PER PERSON service fee. If you cancel 15-29 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, each person's $100 deposit will be forfeited if you cancel 14 days or less before your scheduled arrival you will be charged the full package price. If you are coming on a golf package, your entire package amount (minus deposit) will be charged on the credit card on file 7-10 days prior to your arrival.

Check-In, Check-Out

Our goal is to have your room or cabin ready by the time you arrive. Please note that we have increased our cleaning procedures and must allow adequate time to sanitize and clean each unit.

Check-in starts at 5:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, please enjoy the property and all resort amenities (pool, Sports Centre, beaches, etc.) while we are preparing your room/cabin. Contact the front desk the morning of your arrival to inquire if the room is ready.

Check-out is at 11:00 AM. Housekeeping Plus Cabins have a check-out time of 9:00 AM.

Additional Lodging Taxes

All rates shown on this website do not include state sales tax. There are no additional lodging/city taxes added on vacation packages when you stay at Cragun's Resort.

Package Changes

We reserve the right to alter packages. Rates confirmed in your reservation will be honored. Vacation rates are not valid for any conference or meeting.

Rollaways and Pack ‘N Play

All are available on a first come first serve basis. Please make sure to request one with your reservation.

Smoking Policies

In compliance with the Freedom to Breathe and Minnesota Clean Indoor Air Act, all indoor facilities at our Brainerd resort, including all sleeping rooms, cabins, decks and public areas have been designated smoke free. Smoking in a non-smoking unit is a misdemeanor and the smoker will pay $300 in damages to get the room back to its smoke-free condition. State law provides that if an offender does not reimburse the innkeeper in 30 days, a $100 civil penalty may be added as well as reasonable attorney fees of up to $500.

Pet Policy

Pets are not allowed on Cragun's premises (with the exception of service animals).  Leave your pet at home or call us prior to your arrival for a list of area kennels. Violation of the pet policy will result in pet eviction and a minimum charge of $300 for any damage and cleaning of the room.

Credit Cards and ATM Cash Machine

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and cash card.

No Fireworks on Property

To allow our guests to enjoy the peaceful vacation they came to Cragun's Resort for, fireworks are not allowed on the resort property.
